CCPA MEMBERSHIP CATEGORIES

CCPA invites you to join and become an active member of our association! We offer four categories of membership:

Voting Member (New or Renewing) – Anyone employed as a paralegal, or in a position with duties comparable to those of a paralegal, may apply as a Voting Member. Only Voting Members may become officers and directors, and are the only members eligible to vote upon matters submitted to the membership for action.

Affiliate Member (New or Renewing) – An Affiliate Member is defined as anyone who has been employed as a paralegal but who is not so employed at the time of application; anyone who has completed a formal course of study but who is not employed as a paralegal at the time of application; or any voting member who is not employed as a paralegal (or in a similar position) at the time of application. Upon satisfying the requirements for a Voting Member, an Affiliate Member may become a Voting Member.

Student Member – Student membership is available to anyone presently enrolled in a formal post-secondary education program.

Sustaining Member – Sustaining membership is available to any state-accredited educational institution which offers a legal educational program and/or continuing legal education courses.
